About Us

The Call Center Mercenary is located in Nashville, Tennessee, and was established in 1997 as a privately held company owned and operated by the Chief Call Center Mercenary, Mr. William Evans.

Mr. Evans is a highly trained commando in the strategies and tactics of the call center industry with over 18 years experience in IVR, inbound, and outbound call center campaigns and has completed numerous successful missions. He began his career as a rank and file outbound agent and worked his way up into executive level positions responsible for sales, client services, and operations in small, medium, and large call center operations.

Former employers include Electronic Data Systems (EDS), MCI, Federal Diversified Services, Metro Marketing, and West Teleservices, as well as small and medium-sized call centers. Mr. Evans is a veteran of eight years in the US Navy and was honorably discharged with numerous citations and a decorated military record.

Mr. Evans is also a member on the Council of Telecommunications Advisors, a think tank for Wall Street. He has written and published numerous articles and has worked with call center clients from a variety of industries both domestic and internationally. He is also a member of the American Marketing Association.

We welcome all projects both large and small that need our assistance with call center services. The majority of our clients are everyday people who need to use a call center support service or are looking to establish an in-house call center, although we service outsourcing call centers as well.

The main service that we provide to our clients is the account management in the client services area of a call center campaign. That isn’t to say that we don’t handle projects for call centers, but our typical client has little or no experience in dealing with call centers, and we are hired to fill in that gap and manage the call center campaign on their behalf.
